It’s the beginning of spring and have been seeing so many beautiful tulips at Whole Foods lately, and recently bought a pink bouquet for my mom.
Tulips are spring-blooming that grow in bulbs. Depending on the species, they can be between 4inches and 28 inches high. Interesting fact that I wasn’t aware of about the tulip is that tulip is derived from the Turkish letter and later entering the language by way of French. This name was applied because of a perceived resemblance of the shape of a tulip flower to that of a turban.
Tulips thrive in climates with long, cool springs and dry summers. Tulips are indigenous to mountainous areas with temperate climates.
