Happy Hour Week started on Monday. That’s a full week of happy hour specials from restaurants and bars around the city. Here are a few restaurants that will give you the best bang for your buck.
Bouchon Bistro Bar: The Beverly Hills restaurant is offering a prix-fixe happy hour menu for only $20. If you can snag yourself a seat at the restaurant bar upstairs–you can treat yourself to Steak Frites; a Croque Madame, or Poulet Roti (roasted chicken) and a glass of select sparkling wine, red wine or white wine. Yes, all of that just for $20. Oh and let’s not forget oysters are just $2 each. The special menu is available at the bar from 5:30 to 10:30pm all week. (235 N. Gracias Madre: Happy Hour is happening Monday to Friday, from 4 to 6pm, at the vegan Mexican restaurant in West Hollywood. There’s normally $5 drinks and food on the happy hour menu but exclusively this week the happy hour menu includes roasted root vegetable empanadas with pineapple habanero salsa, cumin lentils and cashew crema; and cocktail with tequila blanco, txakolina, grapefruit peel and thyme. Bar NineteenTwelve/The Polo Lounge: $10 Happy Hour at the super trendy and exclusive Beverly Hills Hotel bars is happening this week between 4:30 to 6:30pm and 10pm to 12am. Select sparkling wine, white wine and red wine are on the menu. Cocktails include Moscow Mule, Blueberry Lavender Fizz, Primavera Margarita, and the Penicillin. Last but not least a snack for your drinks include Salt and Pepper Calamari, Shrimp Lollipop, SRF Pork Belly Slider, Vegetable Crudites, Melted Grilled Chicken and the BEST Parmesan Truffle Fries. Border Grill Santa Monica: Are you feeling Mexican? $3.50 Tacos including carne asada, chicken panuchos, fish taco ensenada, grilled fish, al pastor, avocado, and crispy rajas. $5 Bites include guacamole, ceviche shot, quesadilla and $5 beer and wines. Connie and Teds: Here you will find simply prepared fish and shellfish, inspired by the classic clam shacks, oyster bars and fish houses. $6 select beers and wines. $7 select cocktails. $5 Fried Calamari, Clam Cakes, Oyster Shooter, Fried Claim Strips Slider, French Fries or Onion Rings and a few others. Fig and Olive: Every day from 5 to 7pm available at the bar and lounge only can you find $7 tasting plates which include French Tasting Plate, Spanish Tasting Plate, and Italian Tasting Plate each with a variety of meats and cheeses. $9 Signature Cocktails and $9 Wine by the Glass.
