Happy almost Halloween! What are you dressing up as? I still haven’t decided. I know that sounds bad but I have been so busy doing work things and blog things that I haven’t really stopped to think what I will dress up as. I’m thinking I might be able to recycle one of my costumes and do that. I guess we will see and I will surprise you all!
I spent the weekend relaxing and really getting to spend quality time with my family visiting from Brussels. I only get to see them so often, so it’s really nice to just stop what I am doing to spend time with them and enjoy their company. Saturday night, we had dinner at La Scala, which is an all-time favorite, authentic Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills. The two best things on the menu are the mozzarella sticks and the chopped salad with the salami. Be sure to ask for extra dressing, it’s so delicious! Another one of my favorite items is the penne a la vodka, if you like creamy and you like pasta, I think you may love this dish. We ended the night at Mastro’s for a Nightcap (the second floor), where we were able to enjoy the music and the people watching.
November will be a good month, even though October has a special place in my heart I am hoping fall will arrive in November, it is my dad’s birthday, and I will be doing a bit of traveling.
I wore this look to a workshop and the color combo is one of my fall favorites. With the weather so warm lately, I find it to be the perfect transitional outfit and the blush blouse is just stunning (if I may say so!). The white pencil skirt (sold out) is the perfect touch of classic yet feminine. This Tory Burch tote is one I have been on the fence of getting for so long, but I finally decided to get it during the Fall Event. Shop my look below!
