So, not going to lie when I look back at these photos I remember just how scorching hot it was. And, when I mean hot I don’t mean just warm but hot enough that Christy (my photographer) and I would need to take AC breaks in the car. We even waited in Alfred’s coffee line for 30 minutes to get an ice-cold coffee. If you close enough, you can probably see it in my facial expressions. I can’t begin to tell you how frustrating it is to do a shoot when it is just too warm for comfort (haha).

With fall just right around the corner, I find it to be the perfect time to transition my wardrobe to choose colors that I can wear until the end of summer into the pre-fall. This dress came to mind as it’s the perfect navy fringe detailed dress with the right amount of detail on the front. I especially love this navy fringe dress because I can wear it to work and transition to happy hour or dinner by simply changing some of the accessories and adding a coat.

Lastly, thank you for bearing with me as I post yesteray’s post today. Since bringing Mia home, it’s been a whole new routine trying to accommodate her schedule and my schedule, not to mention enduring the sleepless nights of potty training and crate training. Do any of you puppy mamas have any advice?
