It’s starting to feel more like spring. We’ve had some days of rain, it seems as though we’ve had a more rainy winter than we’ve had in a long time. Some of the canyons that we were hiking in the fall were covered in mostly brown colors, but with all the rain things seem to be more green and far more beautiful. With warmer weather, I’ve been wearing lighter colors and lighter clothing. I find myself wearing a lot of blush colors, like this ruffled top. I paired this ruffled top with a pair of wide-leg trousers.

This is the perfect outfit to wear out to brunch, showers, girl’s lunch or even to meetings. I love a classic look and this look defines all of that. In my previous post (read here), I spoke about how I defined my dress code. With spring in full swing, I find myself picking out more blush colored clothes, lighter fabrics and florals.

This top has become one of my favorites I’ve found from Elizabeth and James. The ruffled edges have just the right amount of feminine touch. Here I’ve paired with Lovers + Friends pants (sold out), but I also can’t wait to pair with jeans or a white midi skirt. I also love the midi skirt version it comes with and you can pair it with the matching blouse. And, if you’re loving ruffles like me, this ruffled dress and this blouse will have you excited for Spring dressing.
