This dress completely stole the show (and my heart) this weekend! I hesitated to buy this dress for the longest time (well I wanted in blush originally but it sold out in seconds!) and then I saw this beautiful lace dress hanging on the rack at Neiman’s and I knew I had to have it.
Whether you’re headed to a lunch date with girlfriends or to a tropical destination, this white lace dress is just delightful. For all the bride-to-be’s, this would make an absolutely gorgeous bridal shower, engagement party or even a rehearsal dinner dress. I joked to myself that I felt so bridal in it. One day! The dress runs a bit on the smaller size, I recommend ordering one size up (especially if you are larger in the chest, like I am).
If you love this white lace dress but you aren’t loving the price tag, I came across this stunning white dress ($80) or this white dress that has some beautiful added details ($180). By the way, these Schutz sandals have become my go-to nude sandals. They are absolutely comfortable, yet still affordable compared to the Stuart Weitzman sandals. I literally am wearing them with everything and have already gotten them in several different colors (oopsies!).

I have to admit I’m not one to choose a floral dress off the rack but when I saw this dress, I knew I had to have it. There is something so girly about having a dress that will twirl and that drapes which brings me to the perfect wedding guest attire. I think it’s safe to say we are swinging into wedding season. So far, I only have two weddings to attend and I don’t know what to wear. Are you thinking the same?! After putting on this Chicwish dress, I knew it would be the perfect dress to wear as a guest of a wedding. It is simple yet chic and most of all affordable (on sale $62), which is key if you will be attending many weddings this year. I paired mine with a brown belt (on sale for under $25) and a pair of nude sandals. This Eliza J. floral dress looks just like the Chicwish dress, it comes in three different colors and comes in regular and petite sizes. If you’re looking for something less pink, I love this maxi dress which is currently in my cart to purchase for a wedding I will be attending countryside.

It’s been a little while since I have posted my wedding Wednesday and that’s simply because the holidays were here and that meant gift guide season. Now that we can put the holidays behind us as we look forward to them in the future, I will resume my wedding Wednesday posts. This week’s post is a little different than the usual ones because I am featuring a real wedding. A few years ago, I was working for an event planner in Denver (Alexan Events) and I loved planning events more specifically weddings. And, if you’re looking for an event planner in Colorado, I highly recommend Alexan Events, she’s fabulous to work with and at what she does. Now, if you’re looking for a photographer to capture every moment of the event you are planning, consider Dave Gillette. I met him while in Beaver Creek this past winter. He knew how to capture every little detail and the details when you least expected them to appear. Although, it was the first time meeting Dave, I felt comfortable shooting with him almost as if we had shot together in the past.
I couldn’t just choose a couple of photos to point out all the details in Matt & Brooke’s Wedding in Vail.
